Can I really treat a patient without seeing them?
At Nemedic we know that you know your patients best. There are many times when a health condition can be accurately diagnosed with a thorough medical interview, and in some cases a picture as well. The technology behind Nemedic uses software that asks simple questions about health history, new symptoms and common signs of disease. As it interacts with the patient it will help you determine the next course of treatment to deliver care in the most efficient way possible. This type of care is what you will find in our service. An online diagnosis can sometimes be difficult and in these situations you may still need to see the patient. Also, some conditions that require a physical exam cannot be treated using the application. For many conditions we have found that online diagnosis and treatment is very effective.
How are patients charged for using Nemedic and how will I receive the payment from them?
Patients are charged up front using their credit card. Nemedic charges the patient the fee you have set before the consult starts. We then forward you the payment minus processing fees.

I am a surgeon. How can I use Nemedic with my post-op patients?
Nemedic is great for routine post-op care. Many surgeons have a member of their team routinely call patients after surgery to check on the status of the patient.
