Nemedic Expands Blue with Ambient Scribe and Missed-Call Agents

WESTFIELD, Ind. — Nemedic has expanded its Blue platform with two agents aimed at the parts of a practice day that generate no revenue and no documentation.

The Ambient Scribe returns clinical documentation from a recorded patient encounter, captured with the voice-memo application already on a clinician's phone. There is no separate app for staff to learn and no hardware to buy.

The missed-call agent addresses a quieter problem. When a call goes unanswered, the agent texts the caller within roughly a minute, can read the voicemail, and offers a booking option before the patient calls the next practice on their list.

Both join a library that now includes fax referral intake, contact-form and quiz follow-up, and prior-authorization readiness.

Practices considering the Ambient Scribe should review their own state and institutional requirements for recording patient encounters. Nemedic executes a business associate agreement with each practice before any protected health information is processed.
