Blue Launches Email-Based Prior-Authorization Readiness Agent — No Login Required
Physicians email a clinical note and receive back what is missing for payer approval — with no portal and no change to their workflow.

WESTFIELD, Ind. — Nemedic today released two additions to its Blue platform, both built around a single idea: the agent should come to the physician, not the other way around.
The first is a note-analysis agent that works entirely by email. A physician attaches a clinical note, sends it to a dedicated address, and receives a reply identifying the documentation gaps that would put a prior authorization at risk under the relevant payer’s surgical criteria. There is no login, no portal and no new application.
The second turns website form submissions into scheduled patients. When a prospective patient completes a sinus or sleep self-assessment and meets a practice’s criteria, the agent opens a text-message conversation and routes the patient to the practice’s booking link.
“Every portal you ask a busy surgeon to log into is a portal they will stop logging into,” said Bradford G. Bichey, MD, MPH, Nemedic’s founder and chief executive officer. “Email already works.”
Both agents run under a business associate agreement with the practice. Nemedic has a U.S. patent application pending on the patient engagement and documentation methods they use.
